Teachers, Try This: Teach Kindness Through Words and Actions

“Everyone goes through something that we don’t know about. Let’s not make it worse when we have the choice to make it better.”

That’s the lesson 4th grade teacher Tori King is working to instill in her students.

Through writing letters and acts of service, she’s teaching them how to show kindness in different ways. Here, she explains what that looks like, and how other teachers can incorporate something similar into their classrooms.
