To the Editor:
I have read the brief Report Roundup item about the Deans for Impact draft paper that is intended to offer insight on how to improve aspiring teachers’ knowledge of how and why students learn.
You continue to post information about this group. Yet in this short piece that identifies six questions that the group believes teachers should embrace, each question is one I believe is already being asked regularly by education deans and their faculties in teacher preparation.
I hope this does not reflect the entire substance of what Deans for Impact is doing.
