Keep Private Schools Free From ‘Federal Lunacies’

October 02, 2007 1 min read

To the Editor:

Would you please tell me why in the world a private school would avail itself of federal programs and thus become subject to the lunacies of the federal education system (“Most Private Schools Forgo Federal Services,” Sept. 19, 2007)? Thank goodness my son’s private school does not participate in any federally funded programs. If I wanted my son subjected to federal lunacies, he would still be in the public schools.
