The U.S. Department of Education has added a new page to its website to help keep
readers updated on early learning issues.
The department last week launched the Early Learning Initiative web page, where readers can find out about funding opportunities, programs, and events, and also view webinars, and read up on
policy issues.
The web page currently features information on the 2010 U.S. Department of Education Reading Institute, a conference with a focus on early childhood education, that starts today and ends July 21 in Anaheim, Calif. Readers can view some sections of the conference online.
