“Double the Numbers for College Success: A Call to Action for the District of Columbia” is posted by the District of Columbia State Education Office.
Of every 100 students who enter the 9th grade in the District of Columbia’s regular public or charter schools, only nine obtain a college degree within five years of enrolling in college, says a report.
The report, released by the District of Columbia State Education Office, also found that only 43 percent of Washington’s regular public and charter students graduate from high school within five years of enrolling.
