Schwarzenegger Is Sued

California state schools Superintendent Jack O’Connell and the California Teachers Association have filed a lawsuit in superior court in Sacramento that would force Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to put $3.1 million back into the state’s fiscal 2006 education budget. The funds would help replace money trimmed from education as part of a budget deal struck in January 2004, the plaintiffs argue.
