Two years ago, a magnet high school for students pursuing careers in education opened in San Antonio, Texas.

CAST Teach High School currently serves 9th and 10th graders, with plans to expand and become a four-year high school.

Here, the principal of CAST Teach explains how the school came to be, and how it’s working to increase awareness around the many careers within education, while building a pipeline of educators.
