Robert-Wayne Harris will begin a three-year term Oct. 15 as the superintendent of the 2,800-student Roosevelt Union Free School District in Roosevelt, N.Y. He previously was an administrator at the neighboring 7,700-student Freeport, N.Y., district. He replaces interim Superintendent Roxanne Garcia.
