The International Schools Directory, $24.95. The European Council of International Schools’ comprehensive guide describes 270 ECISmember schools worldwide and includes statistical data on 800 other schools.

Peterson’s Guide to Independent Secondary Schools, $19.95. Covers 1,400 schools worldwide.

Teaching Abroad, $21.95. The Institute for International Education’s guide to formal exchanges, sources of employment, and other information, organized by geographical areas.

Many states have overseas exchange programs. Check with your state department of education.

Many colleges and universities hold their own recruitment fairs or have other career placement resources. Inquire at the placement office of your alma mater or the college or university nearest you.
