Middle School Group Hires Chief

Drew Allbritten, an education consultant who served as a policy adviser to four presidential administrations, will take over as executive director of the National Middle School Association next month. Mr. Allbritten began his career as a middle school math and science teacher. He was elected to the Michigan House of Representatives, worked as a community college administrator, and served as the executive director of several education organizations. He is president and chief executive officer of Transformation Strategy Consulting LLC.
