3. I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings (1969) by Maya Angelou

4. The Chocolate War (1974) by Robert Cormier

5. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1884) by Mark Twain

6. Of Mice and Men (1937) by John Steinbeck

7. Harry Potter (series, 1998-present) by J.K. Rowling

8. Forever... (1975) by Judy Blume

9. Bridge to Terabithia (1977) by Katherine Paterson

10. Alice (series, 1985-present) by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor
