Thomas W. Rudin recently became the vice president for government relations and development for the College Board, the New York City-based owner of the SAT college admission test.
Mr. Rudin, 46, who was previously the vice president for foundation and corporate relations for the College Board, succeeds Lezli Baskerville, who left the organization to become the president and chief executive officer of the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education, located in Silver Spring, Md.
In his new job, Mr. Rudin serves as the College Board’s chief representative in Washington, promoting public policy, legislation, and education programs that are intended to provide wider access to higher education.
