New Jersey Commissioner of Education William L. Librera has appointed a state-level task force to come up with recommendations by this summer for improving teacher quality. The 40-member panel will study ways to create an endorsement for teachers with advanced standing, develop ideas for evaluating struggling teachers, and recommend new approaches to professional development.
