Heritage Report Notes Progress of School Voucher Efforts

“School Choice: 2006 Progress Report” is posted on the Web site of The Heritage Foundation.

More school systems across the country are establishing or expanding programs that provide students at underperforming schools scholarships to go to private schools, says a report by the Heritage Foundation.

The report from the Washington-based foundation suggests the scholarship or voucher programs are gaining steam in several states with the help of bipartisan political support.
