The Institute of Education Sciences within the U.S. Department of Education awarded three University of Iowa professors with a $4.8 million grant to improve the science literacy of Iowa students.

The study will focus on the relationship between participation in the IB Diploma Program and postsecondary outcomes including college readiness, college access, bachelor’s degree attainment, and academic performance.
