Sharon F. Rallis has been elected the 2005 president of the American Evaluation Association by the organization’s membership.

Ms. Rallis, 58, is a professor in the department of educational leadership at the University of Connecticut in Storrs.
She served as the Fairhaven, Mass.-based AEA’s president-elect in 2004 and will serve as past president in 2006. She will preside over the group’s annual conference, which will be held in October in Toronto and be co-sponsored by the Ottawa-based Canadian Evaluation Society.
The AEA, a professional association of evaluators from various fields, has more than 4,000 members.
