The Quincy movement, a branch of the progressive-education movement of the early 20th century, emphasized group activities, informal instruction, and the elimination of harsh discipline. Who was its founder? (The answer will be included with next week’s quiz.)

Answer to last week’s quiz: Boston Latin, established on Feb. 3, 1635, is the oldest American school in continuous existence.
