The National Aeronautics and Space Administration has invited elementary- and secondary-school pupils to help it name the space shuttle being built to replace the orbiter Challenger.
The Challenger exploded after takeoff in January 1986, killing its seven crew members, including Christa McAuliffe, a schoolteacher.
