Jason S. Freeman has been appointed the director of the Coalition for Science After School, an initiative run by the After-School Corp., a New York-City based nonprofit organization that works to improve after-school programs. Mr. Freeman, 30, was most recently an education specialist in the informal-education division at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration in Washington.
