Jana Fleming has joined the Joyce Foundation as a consultant on grantmaking in early-childhood education.
Ms. Fleming is the executive director of child-development studies at City Colleges of Chicago.
The Joyce Foundation, based in Chicago, provides $8 million annually for education in the Midwest, primarily in early-childhood programs and teacher quality.
