Douglas A. Levin has been named the education policy director for Cable in the Classroom, a nonprofit network of companies in the cable-telecommunications industry that works to provide schools with free access to educational cable television.
Cable in the Classroom is based in Washington.
Mr. Levin, 36, previously served as a principal research analyst with the Washington-based American Institutes for Research, a nonprofit research organization. While there, he directed numerous national studies on technology’s role in education.
