Declining enrollment, rising student needs, federal funding disruptions, and other challenges continue to place pressure on school budgets.

But how have districts been working to adapt their planning practices in 2026? Join the EdWeek Research Center and our sponsor PowerSchool as we examine the state of K-12 finance, based on insights from a survey of more than 1,800 public and private school teachers and administrators.

During this webinar, you will:

  • Learn what your peers are most focused on when it comes to budgeting and spending
  • Explore creative ideas they are proposing to address financial challenges, plus other opportunities based on data findings
  • Preview the 2026 PowerSchool K-12 Finance Confidence Index, which measures educators’ views on their district’s financial health
