David C. Benoit is the new chief executive officer of HOSTS Learning.
The Vancouver, Wash.-based company focuses on producing supplemental materials in reading and math for students in elementary and secondary grades. Its products are used in more than 1,300 schools nationwide, the company says.
Mr. Benoit, 41, is a former senior vice president at Co-nect, a Cambridge, Mass.-based provider of K-12 professional-development services.
He was previously the president of Ombudsman Educational Services of Libertyville, Ill., which runs a chain of alternative schools.
