In the March 22, 2000, issue of Education Week, the original headline for the story “Several Top Officials Leave NASSP in Wake of Restructuring” mischaracterized the recent departures of several top officials of the National Association of Secondary School Principals. Four administrators who are leaving or have left the organization were not forced to leave, as the headline incorrectly stated, but could have remained with the NASSP under revised job descriptions. The story also gave an incorrect name for the organization that one of those officials, Susan E. Galletti, the NASSP’s director of middle-level services, is joining. It is the Galef Institute.

A Reporter’s Notebook item in the March 15 issue gave an incorrect location for the organization that Memphis, Tenn., Superintendent Gerry House is leaving to run. The Institute for Student Achievement is based in Lake Success, N.Y.
