A story in the Jan. 14, 2004, issue of Education Week incorrectly identified one of the universities set to work with the National Center for Reading First Technical Assistance (“Reading First Assistance Center Announced”). The three universities to serve as regional centers are Florida State University, the University of Oregon, and the University of Texas at Austin.
A story in the print edition of the same issue (“Denver Performance-Pay Plan Yields Student Progress”) gave the wrong telephone number for obtaining a report about Denver’s performance-pay plan for teachers. The number is (617) 423-1444.
