Giddy about the Philadelphia Eagles’ first Super Bowl appearance in 24 years, the city’s school district made a bet with the Boston public schools for books. The district whose team was the loser in the Feb. 6 game, which pitted the Eagles against the New England Patriots, will send a couple dozen history books to a school of the winner’s choosing.
