
Arthur E. Levine was unanimously elected to be the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation’s next president by its board of trustees. He will join the foundation next summer.
Mr. Levine, 57, has been the president of Teachers College, Columbia University, in New York City since 1994. He had already announced that he would step down from the post in July 2006.
The Princeton, N.J.-based Woodrow Wilson Foundation offers fellowships for graduate study, professional development for teachers, educational opportunities for women and minorities, and other programs.
