The publisher of a Virginia textbook says it plans to correct a passage that claims that thousands of black troops fought for the Confederacy.
Five Ponds Press said last week it would begin printing revised editions of the 4th grade textbook Our Virginia early next year.
The company is offering blank white stickers to cover the questioned sentence in books already in use across the state.
