Administrators of the Prior Lake-Savage area school district in Minnesota say the district is conducting its own investigation after the father of a black student confronted his daughter’s bullies in a posting on YouTube.

Brad Knudson’s YouTube video has gotten more than 260,000 hits. On the YouTube posting, Mr. Knudson plays a Snapchat video of two students using a racial slur that he said was directed at his daughter. He said he repeatedly tried to contact the students’ parents by phone and at their home. But, when he had no luck, he went to police. Mr. Knudson said the students’ father eventually called him and left a racist message.

School administrators issued a statement saying racism, harassment, and bullying are not tolerated. The statement says school officials have reached out to Mr. Knudson directly to offer support for his daughter.
