The U.S. Department of Education is looking for guidance on how it can provide better technical support and services to local educators and state education officials responsible for English-language learners.
Respondents have until Sept. 25 to provide feedback on the request, which was published Sept. 5 in the Federal Register.
The notice includes a call for specific feedback on improving the department’s services to the ELL community with regard to Title III technical assistance to state and local education agencies and the National Clearinghouse for English Language Acquisition.
