William A. Sommers has been elected the president of the National Staff Development Council’s board of trustees.
Mr. Sommers, 59, is the program manager for the Austin, Texas-based Southwest Educational Development Laboratory, a private, nonprofit education research and development organization.
The NSDC is an Oxford, Ohio-based professional association providing staff-development programs and other resources for K-12 educators.
