Ted Sanders

Ted Sanders is the new executive chairman of Cardean Learning Group, formerly known as UNext Inc.

Mr. Sanders, 63, previously served as the president of the Education Commission of the States and as the deputy U.S. secretary of education under President George H.W. Bush. He currently co-chairs the Washington-based National Commission on Teaching and America’s Future.

Cardean Learning Group, based in Chicago, develops online higher education programs.
