More than three quarters of K-12 teachers (76 percent) say they use digital media in their classrooms, up from 69 percent last year, according to an annual survey of teachers’ use of technology conducted for PBS.
The report, titled “Digitally Inclined,” also found that 29 percent of teachers use a social networking site or social media community for classroom instruction. About one quarter (26 percent) say they belong to an online community specifically for teachers.
