“What You Need to Know About Starting a Student Drug-Testing Program” and “What You Need to Know About Drug Testing in Schools” are available from the Office of National Drug Control Policy.
The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy has released a booklet designed to help schools establish effective student drug-testing programs.
The new guide, “What You Need to Know About Starting a Student Drug-Testing Program,” is meant to complement an earlier ONDCP guide. The earlier guide, “What You Need to Know About Drug Testing in Schools,” was released in July 2002 following a decision by the U.S. Supreme Court allowing school-based drug testing for a wide range of extracurricular activities.
