A new report by the Education Trust compares per-pupil funding available in the quarter of school districts that have the lowest child-poverty rates with funding in the 25 percent districts that have the hightest poverty levels. The analysis looked only at state and local revenues, and measured funding gaps among wealthy and poor districts, both within the states and nationally.
