Rafael Heller and Michelle L. Klink joined the Alliance for Excellent Education last month as senior policy associates.
Mr. Heller, 37, previously served as a senior associate at the Washington-based public-affairs firm CommunicationWorks LLC. Ms. Klink, also 37, was the lead policy adviser on education, welfare reform, and child welfare for the office of U.S. Sen. Olympia J. Snowe, R-Maine.
The Washington-based Alliance for Excellent Education is an advocacy organization that seeks to improve educational opportunities for disadvantaged, low-performing secondary school students.
