R. Scott May has been appointed vice president for systems and curriculum at the Arlington, Va.-based Biotechnology Institute, a national organization dedicated to biotechnology education. Mr. May, 44, formerly was a senior adviser for the Mathematics and Science Initiative of the U.S. Department of Education.
