I very much enjoyed the Perspective column in the November/December issue of Teacher [“Still Tinkering”]. Ronald Wolk’s comments hark back to Kant’s essays on education, which, while quite old, ring true today in many of the ways he suggested. I am a 20-year lawyer going back to school to get a teaching credential, and I appreciate efforts like Mr. Wolk’s to get our schools on track.
