New Orleans Pact Signed

After refusing to do so, the president of the school board in New Orleans has signed an agreement to turn the Orleans Parish district’s fiscal management over to a private contractor. Torin Sanders said his concerns were addressed by revisions to the agreement that clarify the vendor’s role and give the board a chance to vote on the final contract.
