Kirsten Rasmussen has been appointed the director of business development for the National Science & Technology Education Partnership.
Ms. Rasmussen, 37, was a development officer for the Smithsonian Institution for the past six years.
The National Science & Technology Partnership is an Arlington, Va.-based nonprofit organization that aims to help middle and high school students improve their math, science, and technology skills.
