Digital Classrooms

CDW Government, Inc., a Vernon Hills, Ill.-based company that sells technology products to governmental organizations and educational institutions, and Discovery Education, a Silver Spring, Md.-based company that provides digital products for the classroom, have awarded five middle and elementary schools with $45,000 each in wireless classroom technology. As part of the award, each school will receive a $5,000 grant for Discovery Education software products, 20 computers, wireless access, and other education technology. Recipients are: Dorseyville Middle School, Pittsburgh; Rector A. Jones Middle School, Florence, Ky.; Springwood School, Lanett, Ala.; St. Michael School, Cranford, N.J.; and Vermont Avenue Elementary School, Los Angeles.
