Henry G. Cram will become the executive director of the Philadelphia-based Middle States Commission on Secondary Schools in August.

In July, Mr. Cram, 56, will leave his position as the director of staff development for the New Jersey Association of School Administrators. He previously served as the superintendent of the 2,100-student Rancocas Valley Regional School District in Mount Holly, N.J.

The MSCSS, one of three commissions within the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, also based in Philadelphia, provides accreditation and school improvement services for secondary schools.
