Ellen Condliffe Lagemann, the dean of Harvard University’s graduate school of education, has joined the board of directors of the New York City-based Oasis Children’s Services.
Oasis served more than 3,000 children in the New York metropolitan area last summer through full-day and half-day education and recreation programs it operates for the city’s department of education.
Ms. Lagemann, 59, is a former president of the Spencer Foundation, a Chicago-based philanthropy that supports education research projects.
