The Department of Defense Education Activity announced Maria Buchwald the winner of the DoDEA’s NASSP Principal of the Year for Middle and High School.
Ms. Buchwald, principal of Ramstein Middle School, located on an Armed Forces Europe base in Germany, will now be a contender for the 2010 National Association of Secondary School Principals Middle School Principal of the Year.
The DoDEA’s Principal of the Year program, sponsored by NASSP and MetLife, honors secondary school principals who demonstrate leadership, facilitate student achievement, and focus on improving students’ learning experiences.
