David T. Kearns and Charles R. Lee have been elected to the board of directors for the American Institutes for Research.
Both Mr. Kearns, 74, and Mr. Lee, 63, served on the board of directors of New American Schools, an Alexandria, Va.-based school reform model that is set to merge with the research institutes in January. They began serving on the AIR board last month.
The Washington-based AIR is a nonprofit behavioral- and social-science research organization that does much of its work in education.
