The United States ranks 10th out of 125 countries for the well-being of its children and mothers, according to a report by Save the Children, an international children’s-health organization.
Sweden achieved the top spot in the rankings, which were based on criteria such as primary school enrollment, nutrition, and lifetime risk of infant and maternal mortality. The United States shared the 10th spot with the United Kingdom. Niger ranked last among the countries studied.
