A source provided inaccurate data for a story on a foster-care report in the Feb. 25, 2004, issue of Education Week (“Foster-Care Children Are Poorly Educated, 3-State Study Charges”.) The Chapin Hall Center for Children at the University of Chicago says that 732 17-year-olds were surveyed for the report.
In the same issue, a graph that accompanied a story on textbook sales was provided solely by Goldman Sachs Global Investment Research.
