A news brief in the March 2, 2005, issue of Education Week (“Chicago Archdiocese Announces Closure of 24 Schools for Next Year”) gave incorrect information about which Roman Catholic archdiocese runs the nation’s largest parochial school system. It is the Archdiocese of New York, with 108,000 students.
