Charles E. Cascio is the new vice president of government relations at the Educational Testing Service. He will work out of the Washington office of the ETS.

Mr. Cascio, 58, was formerly the vice president of ETS’ national accounts and special-projects division. He had also worked at the Arlington, Va.-based National Board for Professional Teaching Standards as the vice president for certification standards and teacher development.
The Princeton, N.J.-based ETS is a nonprofit company that develops and administers several well-known standardized admissions tests, including the SAT and the Graduate Record Examinations. It administers about 24 million tests in 180 countries annually.
