
Arthur E. Levine was unanimously chosen to be the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation’s next president by its board of trustees. He will join the foundation this coming summer.
Mr. Levine, 57, has been the president of Teachers College, Columbia University, in New York City since 1994. He had already announced that he would step down from the post in July 2006.
The Princeton, N.J.-based foundation offers fellowships for graduate study, professional development for teachers, and educational opportunities for women and minorities.
